Wager Types

  • A moneyline type wager is where you pick the team to win the game.
  • If the team you pick wins then your wager is successful
  • A tie is not a successful pick.
  • You will see the team name you are picking on the top of the pick option
Example
Money

  • A spread type wager is where you pick the team to either:
    • Beat the other team by more than the points specified
    • Or score within the other team by the points specified
  • This is based on whether the team has a postive or negative point spread next to their name.
  • If the points are negative then the team needs to win by more that amount of points.
  • If the points are positive then the team needs to score within that amount of points than the other team.
Example
  • In the example below the you can see the pick options Ravens +3.0 and Chiefs -3.0
  • If you pick 'Ravens +3.0' then the Ravens need to score within 3 points of the Chiefs at the end of the game for your pick to be successful
  • If you pick 'Chiefs -3.0' then the Chiefs need to score more than 3 points than the Ravens at the end of the game for your pick to be successful
  • If the Chiefs beat the Ravens by exactly 3 points neither option would be successful
Spread

  • An over under type wager is where you pick a certain statistic to be over or under a given value.
  • The type of statistic is indicated by the label on the left side of your pick options.
  • The title on each button option will be preceaded by an 'O' or 'U' indicating Over or Under.
  • Following the O or U is the value of the statistic you are saying the final outcome will be over or under.
  • If the statistic ends up being exactly the specific number neither option will be successful.
  • Common statistics would be: Game Points, Passing/Rushing/Receiving Yards, etc...
Example
  • In the example below we can see the statistic is Points.
    • For this example we assume these pick options are placed inside a group 'Final Score' indicating the points are referring to the final score of the game.
  • By picking the 'Over' option you are betting the total points scored at the end of the game will be more than 47 points.
  • By picking the 'Under' option you are betting the total points scored at the end of the game will be less than 47 points.
Points

  • A prop type bet can be a variety of different things.
  • These are things like:
    • Will player X score a Touchdown at any point during the game?
    • Will player X score the first Touchdown of the game?
    • Will the first play of the game be a Run play?
    • Will the outcome of the first drive be a punt?
    • And many many more...
  • Prop bets usually only have 1 option to choose from.
  • When you are selecting this option you are answering yes to the above example questions.
Example
  • In the example below we are betting that Player X will score a Touchdown anytime during the game.
  • If they score a TD your wager is successful.
Anytime TD
