Scoring

  • Odds are associated with each pick.
  • They are determined by various sportsbooks.
  • They represent how likely the outcome of the pick is going to happen.
  • The lower the odds the more likely the pick outcome will be successful.
  • You can identify a pick's odds by the blue number associated with that pick.
  • Odds range:
    • <= -100
    • >= 100

  • Points are associated with each pick.
  • They directly correlate to the pick's odds.
  • A pick with higher odds will score more points.
  • When selecting your pick the points can be identify by a green number.
  • After a pick has been selected its points will be indicated by green, red, or gray.
  • Green indicates the pick outcome has been met (or is currently being met).
  • Red indicates the pick outcome has not been met.
  • Gray indicates the pick outcome is undecided because the associated game has not started.
  • The points are determed as follows:
    • Odds >= 100: odds / 10
    • Odds <= -100: 100 / odds * -10

  • Each pick segment (weekly or daily based on your league) members compete to obtain the most points.
  • At the end of the cycle you earn a score based on your ranking that cycle.
  • The sum of all your weekly scores determine your season rank.
  • The sum of your wager points earned throughout the season are used to break a tie if there are equal scores.
  • The score value awarded each week is determined by the number of members in the league.
    • First = 100
    • Last = 0
    • All ranking in between receive a score equally dispersed between 0 and 100.
    • For ties the score values are added together and then divided equally.
